No. 2039, Size M, Sarah Vander Jacket and Judith Hammerly, 2023. Made from vibrant vintage polyester fabric remnants and locally sourced performance fabric.
The hood of this jacket is a vintage polyester remnant sent to Vander Neut from her Aunt Barb Michael, who found it at a tag sale in Iowa. The bright blue fabric on the jacket sleeves matches the blue of the sky on most Colorado days. The Vander Jacket style pockets in the C cutout shape keep an iPhone safe on a long run, without requiring the runner to fiddle with a zipper.
