Original Pantone Windbreaker Size L, made by hand by Sarah Vander Jacket and Judith Hammerly, 2023. Made from Ripstop by the Roll discontinued color maps and local fabric scraps.

Color maps are used in design work so that a designer can select a specific color, refer to it with a number, and expect that the exact hue will be matched perfectly by other team members and manufacturing partners. Occasionally, color maps have updates. I purchased these discontinued color maps from Ripstop By
the Roll, a fabric company located in Durham, North Carolina, and then I shaped the fabric into a very useful, feather-weight, one-of-a-kind windbreaker. This jacket has ample pocket space, reflective details, and is signed and numbered on the inside.
